Virtual Platform Troubleshooting

✔️ Platform Login

The most common issue causing problems signing into the site is a VPN or Firewall policy.  Please see Firewall & VPN Policy below.

✔️ Browser & System

Desktop or Laptop Computer OS:
Mac: Mac OSX 10.7 or later
Windows: Windows 10, 8, 8.1, 7, Vista (SP1 or later), XP (SP3 or later)
Ubuntu: 12.04 or later
Linux: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4 or higher

Web Browser:
Windows: Chrome 72+, Edge 84+
Mac: Chrome 30+Edge 84+
Linux: Chrome 30+

Webcam
The microphone and speakers that come built-in to most computers are adequate, but a headset with a mic or a stand-alone microphone will create a richer, cleaner sound.

✔️ Connection

A minimum connection speed of 3+ Mbps up/down and a minimum latency of 100ms is suggested.

Note: wireless speeds are lower than your ISP's advertised speeds. You can use speedtest.net to test your speeds on your computer.

✔️ Firewall & VPN Policy

Issues with video playback and other website functions can often be traced to an overly restrictive Firewall or VPN policy.

Ensure policy exceptions are enabled for all connections to resources requested by virtual.milsatshow.com.
