Tech Brief – An innovative method to observe, measure, and characterize Closely Spaced Objects in GEO

Satellites often fly close to each other, but the identification and location of individual satellites becomes more complicated the closer they are in proximity. Under certain conditions, the measurements used during orbit determination do not accurately calculate where a satellite is truly located. Maintaining custody of a satellite is critical and this brief will discuss an innovative method used for ephemeris generation and maneuver detection of Closely Spaced Objects (CSO) in GEO.
